FALL SALE! |
Don't dress as a banana at the Ren Fest, and other Woodlands fall holiday tips.
Forget winter holidays—the fall holiday season is where it's at.
If you're ever bored on a weekend in these next few weeks, chances are there's something to celebrate. This weekend, there's The Woodlands Pride Festival—the largest free fest of its kind in Texas—as well as another weekend at the Texas Renaissance Fest (just don't go dressed as a banana.)
Halloween, of course, is on Oct. 31, and there are several spooky and less-spooky ways to celebrate around town this year. It's quickly followed by Dia de Los Muertos, with events held in The Woodlands and Spring. And soon after is Diwali, a festival of lights that I think everyone should see at least once. That'll be held Nov. 4 at the Hindu Temple of The Woodlands.
Check out my colleague Michael Garcia's harrowing ren fest experience here.
