It was sent out to users at 10:19 UTC, which is 3:19 a.m. Pacific Time. ShakeAlert said it was likely a mixup between time zones set in the test alert system. About 2.8 million people with the app received a test alert about a fake magnitude 5.0 earthquake in San Francisco. Understandably, several users were frustrated with the timing of the test alert. Family-owned Jelly Belly sold to Chicago company – A Chicago company will be taking over a family-owned staple in Fairfield, Jelly Belly. Ferrara Candy Company announced the agreement to acquire Jelly Belly through CTH Invest. Financial terms of the deal weren't released.
