Which Pearland area neighborhoods are the best to trick or treat?

By now, it's no secret to y'all that I love Halloween. One of my favorite things about it is seeing kids in their costumes going door-to-door and saying "trick-or-treat!" And as you plan your route for Halloween night in Pearland, we want to know which Houston area neighborhoods are the best to trick or treat.

Also, I learned that Pearland doesn't have a Spirit Halloween store this year in a meeting yesterday.

The seasonal retailer is usually a one-stop shop for customers like myself looking for costume essentials, so where are Pearlanders getting their costumes this year? Are you designing them at home or piecing them together with thrifted items? Let's chat about it.

Growing Pearland

Manvel Town Center, a development of Weitzman anchored by a 108,000-square-foot H-E-B store, will open the first phase in 2023. The project spans 273 acres at the northwest corner of Texas 288 and Texas 6 in Manvel. The aerial photo was taken in mid-August 2023.

Openings and Closings

A kids salon and spa that offers makeovers and parties opened its doors in Pearland. Sweet and Sassy, 2730 Smith Ranch Road, Suite 117, will host a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Pearland Chamber of Commerce from 10-10:45 a.m. on Oct. 26.
