Breaking News: Bacliff man indicted in 2 'Texas Killing Fields' cases
Galveston county prosecutors have charged a Bacliff man in connection to two notorious 1980s Texas Killing Fields deaths that became two of the state's most enduring murder mysteries.
James Dolphs Elmore Jr. is charged with manslaughter and felony tampering with evidence in the 1984 killing of 16-year-old Laura Miller and with tampering with evidence in the murder of 30-year-old Audrey Cook.
