What could've been: a Texans-Seahawks Super Bowl
Houston Texans general manager Nick Caserio thought he helped build a Super Bowl-caliber team.
This was supposed to be their year. They had the No. 1 defense in the NFL, and an offense that was average and hadn't cost them games since Week 9.
But five turnovers — four in the first half — cost them in a second-round loss to the New England Patriots.
"We had a good enough team to play any team we played," Caserio said last month. "In the end, we didn't execute well enough. You can't turn the ball over five times in the divisional round. Taking care of the football is the single most important stat correlated to winning. Look it up. It's the truth."
Had the Texans been in the Super Bowl this Sunday evening in Santa Clara, Calif., they'd be facing the Seattle Seahawks — a team that beat them 27-19 in October.
It would have been a chance for the franchise to win its first title.
"It's very hard to talk about, because I'm still wishing we were there this week," Houston Texans Foundation vice president Hannah McNair said. "And I feel like we could have been there, and I feel like it was right there for us."

My Super Bowl recipe
Hosting a Super Bowl party? I have a great buffalo lemon pepper wings recipe that I've never shared with anyone.
So if you want to impress your guests, or your taste buds, here's one for you
Ingredients
Wings (up to you on how many)
Buffalo sauce
Butter
Garlic
Cajun seasoning
Lemons
Pepper
Baking powder or corn starch
Instructions
First, pat your wings dry with a paper towel, or wash them with cold water, then past dry.
Put a little olive oil on them, then a healthy amount of cajun seasoning. I love Creole seasoning. Put some pepper on the wings. Not a lot, because you'll put more later. Then coat the wings with baking powder.
I love the grill, but you can bake or air fry them, too. Cook until crispy or if you have an outdoor grill, cook until done.
While you're cooking, put enough butter in a pan to coat it, and some minced garlic. Cook for two minutes then place buffalo sauce, lemon juice and pepper and heat for five minutes on medium low heat. Put your cook wings in a bowl, and pour the finished lemon pepper buffalo sauce on the wings and mix it good.
Then serve and enjoy.
