What's cooking?

One of Houston's greatest assets is its diverse mix of people, and in tandem its thousands of restaurants representing cuisines from all over the world. One genre I've never personally tried is Uyghur cuisine, which is the subject of the latest review from our critic Bao Ong. Turan Uyghur Kitchen sounds fabulous, and I can't wait to gather a few friends to share the "big plate chicken."

We also produced an updated version of our guide to the city's top Italian restaurants. I expect the list will surely generate some comments and ideas from our readers. What did we miss? Let us know and we'll go out to try your favorite spot, if we haven't already.
