The November election will be here before you know it, and it's a stacked ballot.

Even if you're not aggressively tuned into local politics like I am, this year's ballot has the president on it, so that's kind of a big deal.

Fort Bend County Precinct 3 Commissioners candidate Taral Patel is facing new charges, this time for allegedly harassing an unnamed victim online.

Congratulations to Morton Ranch High School science teacher Philip Gustafson who has been named a Texas Educators Achieving Classroom Honors Award winner by the Texas chapter of the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development.

The award is given to teachers with less than five years of classroom experience who exhibit innovative and effective classroom teaching practices and who mentor, inspire and challenge students to achieve at high levels.
