Today's starting lineup
The Texans will have to wait until this evening to find out if they are going to Baltimore or Kansas City for the divisional playoffs, but we do know the game will be at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
We also know a few more things about DeMeco Ryans' team after the 45-14 win over Cleveland in the wild-card round. First, it makes a big difference when the defensive front brings pressure like it did on Saturday. Derek Stingley Jr. is becoming the type of cornerback worthy of the No. 3 pick in the draft. And Laremy Tunsil can still be one of the top offensive linemen in the NFL.
While Houston held up its end on a potential all-Texas Super Bowl, the Cowboys did not. Dallas was crushed by Green Bay 48-32, the third early exit in a row under Mike McCarthy.
The Rockets continue their road trip with a day game in Philadelphia against the 76ers and need a win to avoid falling under .500 for the first time in six weeks.
And while it was chilly in Houston on Sunday morning, the field at the Chevron Houston Marathon put up some fast times. Morocco's Zouhair Talbi set the course record in the men's race, and Sutume Kebede ran the fastest half marathon by a woman on U.S. soil.
Stat of the day: 1-3. Mike McCarthy's record in the playoffs with the Cowboys.
