How to stay entertained during Dry January in the Houston suburbs.

My fiancee and I have a challenge going for Dry January, with the exception of a preplanned bachelorette trip to the wine country in Napa.

I'm taking it up a notch and told him that we should hold off on alcohol until March, but he's convinced that I won't last that long. However, I keep reminding him that I once went four months sober during the pandemic when it seemed like everyone was drinking at home out of boredom.

During that time, I have found other activities to keep me entertained. I realized I like hands-on activities like painting a lot.

If you're also doing Dry January, here's how to stay entertained in Houston's suburbs without grabbing a drink including a Japanese arcade and skating rink in Pearland.

What are some hobbies you've decided to pick up this year? If you're participating in Dry January, what activities has keep you entertained? Let's chat!
