Houston freeze 2024 live updates: dangerous roads, school cancelations, flight delays and more

A hard freeze warning for the Houston region will be in effect through 9 a.m. Wednesday, with multiple other freeze warnings still in place for much of Southeast Texas. Here is the latest on road conditions, weather advisories, school closures and more.

Hard freeze leads to icy roads, closures across Houston region

The Houston Police Department is encouraging people to stay off the roads after several roads became dangerous and icy overnight.

Supreme Court ruling on whether flooded ranchers can sue Texas will shape US property rights

A man has died in an apartment fire near Chinatown Monday night during the city's freezing weather.
