Fatal Harris County house fire caused by heating lamps

Lamps intended to keep several pets warm caused a fatal fire Monday at a north Harris County family's home.

Texas denies claims that it blocked border agents from saving migrants

State military officials said the migrants were already dead by the time federal agents requested access to an area the state seized last week.
