Vote for a Fort Bend area high school in Metallica's high school band competition.

Here in Fort Bend we are very proud of our three area high school bands competing in Metallica's "For Whom the Band Tolls" competition

These are Travis High School in Richmond, Austin High School in Sugar Land, and Cinco Ranch High School in Katy.

The celebrated heavy metal band has invited high school and college bands from across the country to show off their musical talents by performing their own renditions of Metallica's iconic music.

High school bands are competing for a $15,000 prize.

The judges will choose who wins the top prize in each division, but you can help your favorite band win the 'Fan Favorite' prize of $10,000.
