Have you been to Puddery, the Pearland dessert shop made famous by Tik Tok influencer Keith Lee?

TikTok food critic Keith Lee and his wife made a stop at Puddery in Pearland, which is located at 5517 Broadway, during his tour through Houston's culinary scene

Lee's visits to restaurants can fuel a surge in business and attention for restaurants, but sometimes individual employees also benefit from a visit from one of social media's biggest food influencers, according to Chronicle reporter Bao Ong.

The social media icon left a $2,000 tip for Janel Prator, the owner of the dessert shop, per a video posted by Lee on Tuesday night. As of Wednesday afternoon, the video has generated 7.3 million views.
