The Longhorns' chances to make the College Football Playoff aren't great, given that four undefeated teams and two one-loss squads sit ahead of them in the rankings, but the path is quite simple. If Louisville beats Florida State for the ACC championship or Michigan loses to Iowa in the Big Ten title game, UT will be close to locking up a College Football Playoff berth. However, an Alabama win over Georgia in the SEC chamionship could spur trouble for Texas.
