Have you been to the Fort Bend County Fair yet?
Fort Bend County's signature fall event is in full swing, featuring an assortment of activities, live music, food and entertainment.
Now in its 87th year, the Fort Bend County Fair and Rodeo has been bringing the community together since 1933, with brief interruptions during World War II, and in 2020 due to the COVID pandemic.
Sheriff's deputies will be patrolling the fairground and keeping an eye out every day. Sheriff Eric Fagan issued a statement asking everyone to make this year's fair fun and safe.
Ticket sales benefit the students of Fort Bend County, with the fair association using the proceeds for scholarships.
The fair will close 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 8.
Have you been to the fair yet? What did you think?
