| Overnight search for person after traffic stop in Rocklin – The Placer County Sheriff's Office said deputies are searching for a person who left the area after a traffic stop in Rocklin Monday. The sheriff's office said the person left a car on foot after a traffic stop around 6:20 p.m. on westbound I-80 near Sierra College Boulevard. Deputies were still searching as of 9:15 p.m. The sheriff's office used a helicopter, deputies, and a K-9 unit to search for the person along with the Rocklin Police Department. 2 Sacramento women arrested in $37,000 retail theft in Roseville – Two women were arrested after being accused of stealing more than $37,000 worth of designer sunglasses in Roseville. Police are still looking to identify a third woman. The Roseville Police Department said officers responded to the 1100 block of Roseville Parkway for a retail theft a few weeks ago. Three women had gone into a business and stolen more than 100 pairs of sunglasses valued at more than $37,000. The items were later found listed for sale online. Clarksburg family rescued from Maui wildfire by Hawaiian family –Don and Karen Clark got more than they bargained for on their annual vacation to Hawaii last week. The dark smoke blacked out the sun, making midday look more like midnight. In that moment, she sent a text to her kids at home. "I just said, 'you guys, I'm sorry, but I've got to say this, and I love you very much,'" Karen said. They captured cell phone video of the white-knuckle moments when the fast-moving wildfire and hot embers surrounded their car in a Lahaina parking lot. Their car suddenly burst into flames.
