A new forecast released by the National Hurricane Center on Thursday, and all of the Gulf Coast should take notice.

Tropical Depression 9 is currently located in the Caribbean Sea and will strengthen into a hurricane in the coming days. It is expected to move into the Gulf of Mexico this weekend and make landfall somewhere along the Gulf Coast late Sunday to early Monday morning.
