There are downed power lines, snapped trees, destroyed buildings and flooded homes throughout the area in the wake of the storm that made landfall Sunday afternoon. As of Monday morning, there were more than 880,000 power outages in Louisiana and some parts of the state aren't expected to have power restored for weeks.
