If you ever needed an excuse to indulge in brunch, why not Easter Sunday?

Brunch buffets, live music and sweets for the kids are on deck across Houston. Here are some of our top picks for brunch. You'll want to make a reservation sooner rather than later.

Brunch at Xochi.

#1 - Xochi

Why we love it: Sunday brunch is filled with all the Mexican favorites, along with a decadent dessert bar. There's live tunes, too.

What to order: Brunch buffet — don't skip the mole enchiladas.

Location: Downtown
