I’m excited to announce I have a new way to bring you the news that matters most, and you probably already have access to it.
I’ve been chosen to be part of Nextdoor’s pilot program for local journalists, which gives me a verified account to post directly to neighborhoods across Fort Bend and Katy.
The biggest shift is how targeted it can be. If something’s happening in your neighborhood — a rezoning plan, a new development, rising property values — I can go straight to the people it affects and get a clearer picture, faster. I’ll still be doing my usual reporting here, but Nextdoor is where I’ll connecting even more directly with readers.
Plus you can enjoy photos of my dogs, and we all need more pet photos in our lives. (Much as I love this newsletter, you'll never see my cat in it.)
If you’re on there, come find me and give me a follow — the more people in the mix, the better the coverage.
Let’s connect here and get to know each other better.
