Breaking News: Search for human remains underway at home tied to Texas Killing Fields case
Galveston County investigators were searching a Bacliff home for buried human remains on Thursday morning, weeks after they arrested a man in connection with two Texas Killing Fields murders.
Authorities were checking on claims made by the arrested man, James Elmore, that a prime suspect in the killings, Clyde Hedrick, had buried bodies at the property on 18th Street in Bacliff, according to a search warrant released by the Galveston County district attorney's office.
