The Astros are still a couple days away from starting full-squad workouts but Friday brought a jolt in camp: Joey Loperfido is back after being reacquired in a trade with Toronto that sent Jesús Sánchez north of the border. And the expectation is there will be more moves.

Joey Loperfido is back. After the Astros traded him away in 2024, the team made another trade Friday to get him back in a deal that ended Jesús Sánchez's brief stint in Houston.
