It's only Wednesday, my friends, and there's already so much to update you on. In case you (somehow) missed it, Bad Bunny's Super Bowl halftime show this weekend was all the things: historical, beautiful, joyous, and filled with pride. Yamilette Vizcaíno Rivera wrote about how his performance brought Puerto Rican history into the spotlight by using party as protest, and the level of detail Mr. Ocasio incorporated is nothing short of genius.
Speaking of protest, the 2026 Winter Olympics are well underway, and this year's games are already carrying a charge of dissent about the current political climate in the United States. We gathered statements from Olympians who have spoken out against ICE, advocated for LGBTQ+ rights, and more, and we'll be updating as the games continue.
On a lighter note, I need all the Blaire Waldorf stans to the front: a prequel 'Gossip Girl' book about Queen B is on the way. It's time to dust off your old copies of 'Gossip Girl' (or better yet, check them out from your local library). Combine that with your Valentine's Day horoscope and Team USA snowboarder Bea Kim's Olympian-approved tinted lip balm, and I may or may not have just given you the tools to optimize your V-Day weekend plans. 💗 You're welcome! Until next week…
XOXO, Gossip Girl
