Good morning,

Thanks to everyone who responded to last week's question about Houston's Pride celebrations. I asked about your favorite Pride memory, and also how you're feeling about Pride right now. The moods were all over the place, ranging from "angry" to "tension" to "great!" Which, I guess, says a lot about our unsettled moment.

To go with the favorite Pride memories, I dug up old photos from the Chronicle archive. Montrose in the late '70s and '80s looks wildly different than it does now — smaller, wilder, stranger, somehow both fragile and full of swagger. I hope you enjoy those pics as much as I did.

As for this week: Gov. Greg Abbott hasn't yet decided whether he'll approve or veto a bill that would ban THC products in Texas. "I'm going to give it the thoughtful consideration from every angle that it deserves," he said recently.

What would you like the governor to know? Please let me hear by filling out this form! We'll accept responses through midnight Wednesday, and — you know the drill, right? — we'll publish a selection of them in the Chronicle.

Let me hear,
