  California senator removed from room after interrupting news conference by Kristi Noem – U.S. Sen. Alex Padilla was forcibly removed after he interrupted a Los Angeles news conference on immigration held Thursday by Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem. Padilla, a California Democrat, began shouting over Noem before he was removed from the room. Noem said Padilla did not ask for a meeting with her, and she criticized his interruption.  Immigrants and families tormented by false social media posts of ICE sightings - While the protests in Los Angeles and across the country continue, here in Sacramento, immigrants and their families are being tormented by social media posts spreading misinformation about ICE sightings. Volunteers with NorCal Resist are now trying to put a stop to it and are asking people first to call them before they believe everything. There are posts claiming an ICE raid happened Tuesday on 47th and Franklin. NorCal Resist says as they help more people, they are looking for more volunteers to participate in their Migra Watch and immigration court accompaniment program.  One passenger survived deadly Air India plane crash that killed at least 240 - An Air India passenger plane bound for London crashed into a medical college in Ahmedabad after takeoff Thursday, killing at least 240 people in one of India's worst airline disasters in decades, officials said. Vidhi Chaudhary, a top state police officer in the northwestern city of Ahmedabad, said medical students who were in a college hostel when the plane hit the building are among the dead.
