To stop the spread of a flesh-eating parasite, U.S. officials have halted all imports of live cattle, horses and bison along the Southern Border.

The detailed design engineering to extend Old Conroe Road is underway as the city of Conroe works to secure funding for the project that has increased to $196 million. The 5.7-mile-long project is an effort between Conroe and the Texas Department of Transportation and will connect FM 1488 and Sgt. Ed Holcomb Boulevard.
