Kevin Kiley's tele-townhall filled to capacity, many people not able to get in – After demand by the people living in Congressman Kevin Kiley's (R-Rocklin) district for town hall meetings, one was held Monday night, but many people weren't able to get in and voice their concerns. Many trying to get into the tele-town hall were met with this message: "Sorry, due to overwhelming demand, we are unable to connect you to your conference at this time. Goodbye." Previously, ABC10 asked Kiley if he plans to have a town hall anytime soon. He says because his district is so large, tele-town halls have been more convenient for him and his constituents. 2 hurt after roof collapse at Oakdale Cost Less - A Cost Less in Oakdale is temporarily closed after its roof collapsed and caused flooding in-store. Modesto Fire Department responded for a rescue call at the grocery store in Oakdale around 2:25 p.m. Arriving crews found a roof that collapsed, causing a 20x20 foot hole in the ceiling. A spokesperson for the fire department said it was at the right front of the store, above the produce. Parts of the store experienced flooding and two people had minor injuries. One of them was taken to a hospital. State superintendent delays return-to-office mandate for education workers - California state workers at the Department of Education will have an additional six months before they are required to return to the office four days a week, despite Governor Gavin Newsom’s statewide July 1 mandate. State Superintendent Tony Thurmond sent a letter Friday to Department of Education employees, informing them their return-to-office deadline has been pushed back to December 31, months after the governor's July deadline.
