Live updates: Massive wildfire north of Houston forces evacuations, school closures
Firefighters are still working to contain a large wildfire at the Sam Houston National Forest that has sparked evacuations and school closures. The 2000-acre blaze is located about 50 miles north of Houston in Montgomery County.
The blaze is about 20% contained as of 8:45 a.m. Thursday, according to officials. Follow along for live updates.
