| Sacramento Sheriff: Suspect fired gun at car during bar brawl, caused his father to get run over – New details were released in a Sacramento County bar brawl that ultimately led to a man being run over and killed by a car and his son behind bars. The Sacramento County Sheriff's Office said deputies were called to a reported shooting around 1:30 a.m. along the 4500 block of Auburn Boulevard Sunday. Deputies found a man lying on the ground of the parking lot under a car that appeared to have run him over. The driver of that car stayed at the scene as deputies arrived. Stockton police to crack down on tobacco retailers -Stockton smoke shop owner Fadel Mohamed was double-checking his inventory and second-guessing his business venture Sunday. Fadel said his doors may not be able to stay open much longer, and soon, it could be Stockton police inspectors walking through them. Officers will be checking for compliance with state laws including ones banning the sale of flavored-tobacco products and city codes, including those that prevent blight. The enforcement effort comes near two years after city councilmembers passed an ordinance placing stricter regulations on smoke shops and requiring them to get a new, special license.
