Walmart will open a new supercenter in Cypress. Here's why it's being called 'Walmart of the future'
A 'Walmart of the future' will soon be coming to the Cypress area, according to representatives.
The new store will offer more spacious aisles, and will also feature a full grocery section, an auto care center, walk-in fuel station with eight pumps and a large pharmacy and drive-thru. Additionally, it will feature interactions with products in stores and more technology, according to a news release.
The 170,000-square-foot super center will open next spring at 8927 Fry Road.
