2 post offices burglarized in Sacramento County. Ballots, laptops among items stolen – Laptops, ballots and mail were stolen from two post offices during early-morning burglaries Thursday in Isleton and Ryde, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office. One post office was located on C Street in Isleton, and the other was in Ryde along Highway 160. Employees at the Isleton location reported the backdoor was broken into, and a laptop and mail were stolen by an unknown number of suspects, officials say. At the post office in Ryde, the suspect or suspects broke through the front door and stole a laptop and mail that was inside post office boxes. The sheriff’s office says some of the mail stolen in the PO boxes were ballots for the November election. Folsom Cordova school district spent over $100K on translators for family accessibility – Folsom Cordova Unified spent over $100,000 ahead of the current school year to purchase real-time translators, which aid with parent and family accessibility, the school district said. Approximately 95 languages are spoken within the district, according to FCUSD spokeswoman Angela Griffin Ankhelyi. Each of its 38 schools’ main office is equipped with a TranslateLive device, and three schools have two devices each, she said. Missing man Tyson Fiddler found dead in El Dorado County – The search for a missing man in El Dorado County came to an end after he was found dead Thursday afternoon. According to the El Dorado County Sheriff's Office, Tyson Fiddler was last seen Oct. 5 around 1:50 a.m. On Oct. 10, deputies said the body of a man was found around 2 p.m. in a remote part of the county. Officials confirmed the body was that of Tyson Fiddler. It's not clear what the circumstances are around his death.
