Today's starting lineup

The Astros wrapped up a sweep of the Orioles with a similar formula to Saturday's win: Get a solid seven innings from their starter (this time, Framber Valdez) and get an early lead (four runs in the first).

The sweep leaves the Astros at 38-40 with a chance of reaching .500 by the season's halfway mark. Matt Kawahara looks at three things we learned from the sweep of Baltimore, which had been one of the AL's hottest teams.

Texas A&M will play in the final game of the college baseball season as the Aggies go for their first national title against Tennessee. The Volunteers forced a Game 3 with a pair of late two-run homers. It was A&M's first loss of the postseason.

At the Olympic swimming trials, Sugar Land's Simone Manuel added an exclamation point to her comeback with a win in the 50-meter freestyle. Manuel will be competing in her third Olympics in Paris and compete in two events.

The NBA draft will be over two days this year. In addition to its pick at No. 3, the Rockets also have the 44th pick, which will come on Thursday. Jonathan Feigen looks at 10 possibilities.

NRG hosts another Copa América game on Monday as Colombia plays Paraguay. On Saturday, Mexico beat Jamaica at NRG. It was a chance for Mexico's fans to show off their pride and a taste of what Houston can expect in 2026 World Cup.

Stat of the day: 26-16. The Astros' record since May 8 when they were 12-24. If they play at the same pace for the rest of the season, they will finish with 90 wins.
