Ready or not, the first weekend of June has arrived.

It seems the month of May did not want to go gentle into that good night, leaving us with some extremely unpredictable weather in its farewell - and perhaps more terrifyingly: kids on summer vacation.

Nevertheless, this halfway point in the year brings with it a lot of reasons to celebrate, including Father's Day, Juneteenth and Pride just to name a few.

Sure, you may've already scarfed down your free treat in honor of National Doughnut Day, but fear not - there is still plenty to celebrate.

Maybe you plan on taking a moment to honor the emancipation of enslaved African Americans.  Or maybe you plan to rock your most rainbow-colored outfit to attend one of the many Pride events lighting up our city. Perhaps both?
