While the Astros' 2024 season has largely been one to forget, the team's farm system has been a source of optimism. Just look to general manager Dana Brown's first draft class.

Brown came to Houston last year with an extensive scouting background, something that's been on full display as of late. With first-round pick Brice Matthews' recent promotion to the Corpus Christi Hooks, four members of the Astros' 2023 draft class have reached Double-A in their first full season in the minors.
