Houston Astros 2023 draft pick Jake Bloss made his MLB debut on Friday against the Baltimore Orioles in the latest evidence of general manager Dana Brown's scouting acumen. Unfortunately, Bloss—who started the season in High-A—encountered an all-too-common issue for Houston. He was pulled in the top of the fourth after allowing two runs with two strikeouts in 3 2/3 innings, and he is now on the injured list with right shoulder inflammation.
