According to the Napa County Sheriff’s Office, the suspect is 25-year-old Gabriel James Chavez of American Canyon. He’s accused of murder and expected to appear in court Tuesday. According to deputies, 39-year-old Andres Fabian Sandoval Garcia, of Vallejo, was killed in Saturday’s brawl between two groups on the west shore of the lake. It’s not clear how the fight started, but investigators say the two groups didn’t know each other. First mosquito, birds test positive for West Nile Virus in Land Park – Health officials are on alert after a mosquito tested positive for West Nile Virus for the first time this season in Sacramento County. The sample was collected from Sacramento's Land Park area, just blocks away from where a dead bird tested positive for the virus a week earlier. In total, three dead birds and one mosquito have tested positive so far, prompting the Sacramento-Yolo Mosquito and Vector Control District to increase its mosquito trapping and monitoring. Five people died from the virus last year in Sacramento County. Bicyclist dies after being hit by car in Natomas – A bicyclist is dead after being hit by a car in the Natomas area Tuesday morning. According to Sgt. Mike Severi with the Sacramento Police Department, it happened around 7:30 a.m. near Club Center Drive and Banfield Drive in the Natomas Park neighborhood. Severi says officers and the Sacramento Fire Department responded to a vehicle vs. bicyclist crash where the male bicyclist was taken to the hospital. He later died from his injuries and has not been identified yet. Hunter Biden was convicted Tuesday of all three felony charges related to the purchase of a revolver in 2018 when, prosecutors argued, the president’s son lied on a mandatory gun-purchase form by saying he was not illegally using or addicted to drugs.
