Megan Thee Stallion is coming to Houston for her biggest show yet

Megan Thee Stallion is coming home.

I've seen Megan perform multiple times in Houston. The first was in 2019 at Revention (now Bayou) Music Center, right in the midst of the phrase "Hot Girl Summer" going viral. It was apparent even then she was born to be a star. I saw her again a few months later during a show at White Oak Music Hall. She entered atop a carousel horse, wearing denim and rhinestones.

Since then, I've seen her at Discovery Green for a free show and even sat in on a Q&A she did with scholarship recipients at Texas Southern University. She even took a few minutes outside the auditorium to address the huge crowd hoping to catch a glimpse of her.

"I just wanted to come out here and turn up with y'all. I'm back home, I'm back in the city," she said before leading the crowd in a "hot girl" chant.

The Hot Girl Summer Tour, Friday and Saturday at Toyota Center, will be her biggest homecoming yet. A full set and full-on Megan. I've yet to actually interview her, but Megan, if you're reading this, I'll be there. And everyone else reading this, look for my review of the show early Saturday morning.
