Meta has been forced to scale back its AI plans in Europe

This is due to the concerns over how it is using user data from Facebook and Instagram to train its AI models. However; Meta says it is only using publicly shared posts and photos, not private messages or audience-restricted content, which it believes aligns with its user agreements. As a result, the rollout of Meta's AI tools in Europe will be delayed until these data usage concerns are evaluated by EU officials. A likely outcome is that European users may need to explicitly allow their public content to be used for training Meta's AI models going forward.

Image search feature in TikTok Shop

The feature finds similar products by uploading a visual example, either by taking a photo or using an existing image from their camera roll. Dash Hudson and NielsenIQ report reveals that TikTok Shop ranks as the ninth-largest retailer in the US and the second-largest in the UK. The report also indicates that users increasingly spend more money on the app.

Youtube experiments with separating comments into topic groups during live video streams
