Check out Stafford's new luxury RV resort

There's so much new construction happening in Fort Bend County.

I spent an interesting afternoon in Stafford last week, checking out a new luxury gated RV resort.

It's on Moore Road, between Sta-Mo Sports Park and Miramonte Single Living apartments.

The manager there said such alternative living options had become popular during COVID, which forced people to reexamine their lives or downsize or explore new places.

She noted that attitudes toward RV living have significantly shifted over the past decade.

The Jetstream RV Resort offers its residents all the things you'd expect from a hotel or apartment complex—hot tubs, a swimming pool and fitness center, kitchens, a dog park, a business center and laundry facilities.

There's also a lake stocked with baby fish where you can enjoy catch-and-release fishing.

As you enter the gated compound, on either side are RVs of all models and sizes, some parked under blue canopies to stay cool in the Texas sun.

What do you think about living in an RV?

Write and let us know.
