Former NFL player's $2M Cy-Fair home is listed for sale

A new home just touched down in the Cypress housing market in May.

Former NFL player and Super Bowl MVP Hines Ward has listed his modern Cy-Fair home for $2.1 million.

Ward is a retired NFL wide receiver who played for the Pittsburgh Steelers from 1998 to 2011, bringing the team to one Super Bowl win.

The 5 bedroom, 5 full and one half-bath home is located in the Towne Lake neighborhood, and offers a pool, a summer kitchen, whirlpool tub, and a putting green.

The Waffle Bus to expand with new location in Cypress area.

Did someone say chicken and waffles? The Waffle Bus will be headed to Bridgeland soon to open an brick-and-mortar location.

Openings and closings

Cheaters Creamery  will open an ice cream spot on Barker Cypress Road, offering various flavors of ice cream with fun toppings. Dessert lovers can also find ice cream sandwiches and milkshakes here. 


Shout out

Congratulations to Cy-Fair ISD student athletes who signed their letters of intent on May 24. Twelve CFISD athletes signed to play college sports in football, soccer, track and field, softball, wrestling and gymnastics.
