Today's starting lineup

The health of the Astros' starting pitching has pretty much been precarious all season. They got another scare Tuesday night when Spencer Arrighetti took a line drive off his left leg against the Cardinals. The good news: He said he expects to be be "just fine" after Houston made it two straight wins over St. Louis. The Astros haven't provided an update on Cristian Javier's health after his most recent trip to the injured list but according to a report Tuesday, he will undergo Tommy John surgery in another blow to the rotation. Also on the injury front, Kyle Tucker was out of the lineup a day after fouling a ball off his shin.

Why veteran receiver Stefon Diggs is embracing a mentor's role after being acquired by the Texans this offseason. Among the things we learned from the first day of the Texans' mandatory minicamp: C.J.
