Perhaps a trip to Mexico City was just what the Astros needed.
They completed a two-game sweep of the Rockies on Sunday as Framber Valdez returned to the mound. And they got encouraging news on Cristian Javier's return so the rotation could soon look like the one they envisioned. Plus, Joey Loperfido is coming up from Sugar Land to add another bat.
No wonder the Astros said they felt at home in Mexico City and wouldn't mind going back.

In college football, we resume our look at Texas and Texas A&M after their spring games. Today, it's the defensive lines. The Longhorns have plenty of talent but are looking for more depth and size. The Aggies are ready to carry on their tradition of strength up front.
The Paris Olympics are getting closer each day. Houston has a hopeful in a sport we don't think much about: field hockey. Danielle Lerner has a profile of goalkeeper Kelsey Bing.
