What are your favorite 'hidden gem' restaurants in Katy?

I get emails from readers on a very regular basis recommending that I do a story on their favorite "hidden gem" restaurant in Katy.

You send me the names of bakeries, steak houses, breakfast joints, tea rooms and everything in between, and I love it. These small businesses, often owned by locals themselves, are part of what makes Katy so unique and charming. You, my readers, are the eyes and ears of the community, and you know all best places that can be found in the nooks and crannies of the city.

And you're absolutely right- these hidden gems deserve some time in the spotlight.

With that in mind, I've put together a new reader poll. I want to know: what are your favorite hidden gem eateries in Katy?

I want to know all your favorite dining spots that you won't see on a billboard or commercial. I want to share the stories of the mom-and-pop shops that don't have big advertising budgets.

Submit your go-tos, and I'll put together a list of the top hidden gems in Katy to share with your neighbors.
