Standoff underway at Fair Oaks apartment complex after shootout between suspect, deputies – People are being asked to avoid an apartment complex in Fair Oaks after deputies shot at a suspect Friday morning. According to Sgt. Amar Gandhi with the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office, it happened around 10:15 a.m. at the Hazel Ranch apartment complex on Winding Way. There are few details available now but Gandhi said deputies fired shots at the suspect and no deputies were injured in the shooting. The latest can be found HERE. The Sacramento Police Department announced the arrest of two people in the death of Chasity Sparkman. The relief comes almost a month later for Alfonzo and his family. Sacramento County Sheriff's Office ends red light camera program – The red light cameras at busy intersections throughout Sacramento city and county are designed to ticket people running red lights, but the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office says that program is over. The Red Light Camera Program started in 2011 and cost the sheriff's office $898,000 a year for all cameras at 23 locations throughout the city and county.
