Hey y'all! I hope you're having a lovely weekend despite the chaotic weather. 

I'm finally ordering some eclipse glasses today. In just a few weeks, Texas will fall in the 2024 total solar eclipse's path of totality. And the rare phenomenon won't be visible in the United States for another 20 years. 

Here's what makes the eclipse so rare.

Pornhub disables website in Texas over objection to age verification law

One of the most-visited pornography websites, Pornhub, disabled its site in Texas on Thursday over objections to a state law that requires age verification to prevent access to minors.

The city of Conroe has asked the 9th Court of Appeals to order City Secretary Soco Gorjon to reject the council applications of Mayor Pro Tem Curt Maddux and Councilman Todd Yancey after they were notarized by city staff and filed without the men appearing in person, a violation of state law.
