I hope you're enjoying your weekend before the city gets a cold blast from the arctic front moving in. The system is expected to arrive on Sunday and produce the city's coldest temperatures since December 2022. Here's a timeline of its expected impact on the city

Before the weather moves into the area here are options on how to spend time in Galveston if a day at the beach turns out wet, cold or rainy. 

The city is buzzing with anticipation as the Texans take on the Cleveland Browns in the NFL wild-card round later today. If you're looking for a place to catch the game with a crowd, here are some places to find Texans-Browns watch parties.

In December of 2008, Waldmuller was on his way home to Wichita Falls for Christmas break from the University of Houston when he was involved in an accident with a semi while riding a motorcycle. His leg was amputated in 2009 and now runs endurance races on a regular basis. He will compete in the Chevron Houston Marathon in the amputee division.
