Today's starting lineup
Fellow quarterbacks Davis Mills and Case Keenum have cultivated a weekly tradition with rookie C.J. Stroud: Friday night dinners.
For the three teammates, it's an opportunity to connect outside of football. They talk about life, faith and relationships. Jonathan M. Alexander has the details.
The Texans will be flying to Indianapolis this Friday for Saturday's game that will decide a playoff spot. There have been plenty of changes since the teams met in Week 2. Devin Singletary has taken over as RB1 for the Texans, while the Colts have new faces on offense as well. Houston will be without defensive end Jonathan Greenard for the second week in a row.
This week's game, and potential playoffs, could be the last time we see the Texans in this current version of their uniforms. The team dropped a few more hints of changes to come. Can you say H-Town Blue?
Spring training is a little over a month away. The Astros added another arm to the roster, claiming Declan Cronin off waivers to give them more options in the bullpen.
The Rockets, who face the Timberwolves on Friday, have a few more options in their rotation thanks to the growth of rookies Amen Thompson and Cam Whitmore. Both are playing better and seeing more time because of injuries to Dillon Brooks and Tari Eason.
And in college football, Michigan comes to Houston for the College Football Playoff title game against Washington still under the cloud from a sign-stealing controversy that cost one assistant coach his job and led to suspension of coach Jim Harbaugh.
Stat of the day: 1,026. Total yards from scrimmage for Texans running back Devin Singletary.
