The 713 Weekend Wrap

Welcome to Sunday, Space City,

Early birds around Houston may have been surprised by some relatively brisk temps to start the day with morning lows dipping below 60 degrees for the first time in a while.

As meteorologist Anthony Franze explains, it's been 160 days since H-town saw temps in the 50s; May 1 to be exact.

Next week, all eyes will be on Tropical Storm Lidia in the Pacific Ocean and what the system could mean for the region.

On the gridiron, the Texans square off against the Atlanta Falcons at noon following back-to-back wins over the Jaguars and Steelers. Not too shabby for a squad predicted to have one of the league's worst odds of winning the Super Bowl ahead of the season.

Remember, Houston residents will need to register by Tuesday to vote in the upcoming November elections. We've compiled a roundup of frequently asked questions about voting in Houston.
