Pearland Insider

Our Texas Voter Guide will help you prepare for the Nov. 7 elections.

The Nov. 7 elections are approximately a month away and that means it's time to start doing research on local races and ballot initiatives.

The Chronicle's Politics Team compiled all of the important races and initiatives and put them in a 2023 Texas Voter Guide, this includes notable elections and propositions in the suburbs. I'd suggest bookmarking the link because the team will continue to update the guide as we get closer to the elections.

There are local implications to this election.

Pearland ISD has called a tax rate election. If the voter-approval tax rate passes, the new district tax rate will be $1.1373. If the measure fails, the tax rate will be $1.0473. Learn more about the tax rate, how it'll impact home owners and give us your honest thoughts here.
