Houston Astros clinch 7th straight playoff berth

The wait was longer, but the result is familiar.

With a 1-0 win over the Diamondbacks on Saturday, the Astros secured at least a wild-card spot in the AL postseason field and will return to the playoffs for the seventh consecutive year. A division title remains within reach and will come down to the season’s final day.
